MY FAVORITE PIECES FROM GUCCI SPRING 2019

With Spring right around the corner, I am getting so excited to see what designers have in store for this season!

Whilst browsing the latest at Neiman Marcus, these newest pieces from Gucci were the first to catch my eye. So much from this collection evokes such class. It combines the best elements of feminine style from so many of the best bygone eras of women’s fashion.

Gucci Patent Leather Spiked Pumps

These pumps are such a perfect mix of feminine and edgy. The heel is not too high so the would most likely be comfortable to wear most of the day.

Gucci Horsebit Leather Slingback Pumps

I am loving this classic Gucci striped pump. The horsebit buckle tastefully placed, makes this an easy pump to dress up or down.

Gucci Button Front GG Canvas Trench Coat

How beautiful is this coat? I love how there are so many details going on with this without it being overdone. The gold buttons make this even better. Gold hardware detailing lends such a richness to everything.

Gucci Pleated Technical Jersey Dress

Pretty pastel pink, perfect pleats, and vintage detailing……..assolutamente perfetto!

Gucci Suede and Metallic Leather Mini Dress

Now this is a party dress! Gold has come back in a big way and it does not seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. This to me is like a really modern take on the flapper dress. It is truly wearable and versatile. I just don’t see what you can’t love about it.

Gucci Flora Web Wool and Silk Scarf

I am a collector of Gucci scarves. They always have so many lovely prints to choose from. If you are new to Gucci or are just starting to look at getting one of their pieces, but you maybe do not want to spend so much, any of their scarves would be a good thing to go for. Some are fairly inexpensive and start at the $200 mark.

Gucci Round Open Temple Sunglasses

Tom Ford’s Jennifer Sunglasses made me a lover of this open temple style of eye wear. These are so delicate and ultra feminine. I still remember my first pair of Gucci sunnies, and what happened to them! While at a friends house I took them off and left them on a shelf where I did not think anyone would grab them. Her kid climbed the shelf and ended up breaking them. Needless to say I was quite vexed!

Gucci Linea Rajah Large Leather Tote Bag

This bag! I don’t even know how to describe its’ perfection. That classic red stripe, the gold, and the emblem; all against a perfect cream leather backdrop. I often say that my signature red nail color is Gucci red, they perfectly match that red stripe!

The new Gucci collection definitely has me lusting for more!

IT’S ALL IN THE BLOCK HEEL

The shoe gods have spoken and block heel booties are this Fall and Winter season’s “It Shoe”! Now, when you get the notion to go out and look for a pair, adopt this mantra, “The blockier the better”!

This is going to be a particularly easy trend for most people to adapt to (if you haven’t already) simply because block heels are a hell of a lot easier to walk in than stilettos, especially if you have to navigate over an icy parking lot. The only drawback for me with block heels is that they usually tend to be inelegant. I love my sleek, pointy toe stiletto boots! This season however, designers have completely broken that mold and come up with several options that will fit anyone’s style. This year the block heel can be elegant, and whatever else you want it to be!

HOW TO STYLE BLOCK HEEL BOOTIES

Tory Burch went with some very simplistic details with the hardware on these boots, which I love. The flowy top is what gives this look its feminine flair. Add sleek accessories and you are good to go. This is edgy street style at its chicest! Cuir avec cuir et plus de cuir!

HOW TO STYLE BLOCK HEEL BOOTIES (GOLD)

Topshop Maria Chealsea Block Heel Boot $150/ Chloé Small Drew Bag $1930/ 14K White Gold Black CZ Earrings $30/ Nikoleta Long Sleeve Mesh and Bandage Dress

You will very soon find out that in addition to block heels, gold EVERYTHING is what’s in! Nothing goes better with gold than black. If you are going to wear such a bold boot, accent with gold stud or chain details on your outfits or handbags, but keep your jewelry minimal. In this case, your boots are your jewelry.HOW TO STYLE BLOCK HEEL BOOTIES (EMBELLISHED)

Saint Laurent Crystal Heel Booties $995/ Witchery Cable Poncho $61/ Max& Co by MaxMara Wool Blend and Silk Dress $95/ Stella McCartney Falabella Clutch $650/ Pre-owned Tiffany and Co Elsa Peretti Small Open Heart Necklace $100/ Charlotte Russe Basic 40 Denier Tights $5.99/ Roberto Cavalli Jeweled Aviator Sunglasses $315

I am seeing quite a few embellished heels, and these ones from YSL are my absolute favorite so far. The silver tones on the heels pair lovely with navy, grays, and whites. I love the cable knit poncho with the boots, and you can also dress them down with just jeans and a gray sweater.HOW TO STYLE BLOCK HEEL BOOTIES (EMBELLISHED)

Valentino Astro Couture Ankle Boots $2,145/ Woolford Opaque Tights $55/ Edun Draped Wool Wrap Dress $590/ Valentino Rockstud Lock small metallic shoulder bag $1,645/ Linda Farrow Square Monochromatic Sunglasses $570/ Portolano Cashmere Lined Leather Gloves $40

Black is my favorite thing to wear for so many reasons, but one of them is that you can effortlessly accent with the boldest pops of color. I love how the Valentimo Rockstud bags seem to match all of the new embellished Valentino boots. With all of these details, you don’t even need any jewelry.

HOW TO STYLE BLOCK HEEL BOOTIES

Alexander Wang Kenze Boot $725/ Le Vian Genuine Brown Quartz and Citrine Ring $2,100/ Burberry Bag $1,155/ J Brand Midrise Skinny Jean $190/ Nina Ricci Cotton Turtleneck Sweater $545/ Victoria Beckham Supra Round Sunglasses $495/ Camel Sleeveless Coat $69

These booties from Alexander Wang look incredibly comfortable. If I was a tourist in London, this is exactly what I would want to be wearing! Burgundy is another “IT” color for the Fall and Winter, and it is becoming the new neutral to have in your closet. It really pairs with so much. You can always be sure it will go with a Burberry bag!

HOW TO STYLE BLOCK HEEL BOOTIES

Jeffrey Campbell Gershon Block Heel Bootie $165/ Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Melton State Coat $380/ Shaping Skinny Jeans $50/ Equipment Cecile Cashmere Dots V-Neck Jumper $145/ Balenciage Metallic Edge Nickel City Bag $2,220/ Tom Ford Anastasia Sunglasses $149/ R.J. Graziano Goldtone Mesh Bib Necklace $45

The nice thing about block heels as I mentioned before, is that they give you more sturdy traction when you are walking. These have a platform in the front which will make them even more wearable. If you love high heels then these will be a great option for you. I think that the boots pair particularly well with an animal print. Do not shy away from animal prints! You can absolutely make them look sophisticated and chic.

HOW TO STYLE BLOCK HEEL BOOTIES

Tory Burch Blossom Block Heel Bootie $450/ Diane Von Furstenberg Libby Coat $350/ Fogal Corvina Pantyhose $59/ Maison Margiela 4 Short Dress $750/ Maria Dorai Raj Silver Cuff Bracelet $305/ Burberry Black Round Sunglasses $245/ Jon Hardy Dot Silver Ball Station Bib Necklace $995

Tory Burch is definitely on a flared block heel kick! If you read one of my last articles about her new Gigi Pumps, then you know what I mean. The flared block heel is very mod, and I expect other designers will veer that way for the upcoming seasons. One of my favorite combos in terms of color is black, white, and bright blue. It makes for the perfect foundation to color block.

So, do you think you could walk a mile in my block heels?

TOM FORD SOLEIL COLLECTION

Screenshot_2016-04-03-09-38-13-1[1]

I got a chance to take a look at the new Tom Ford 2016 Soleil collection and it is gorgeous! I am not into overly bright candy colours for the Summer, so this collection is ideal.

I am loving the sleek white accents in the packaging. It brings to mind all of the white marble and gold accents that Lidia Bersani uses in her interior designs.

Moisturecore Lip Colour $55
Moisturecore Lip Colour $55

This lip colour is MOISTURIZING! There is a passion fruit oil core in every tube, and the surrounding formula is an interfuse of nourishing extracts and butters. This formula is a bit more lightweight than its fuller coverage counterpart. The shades are somewhat darker than one might expect for the Summer, but bright pinks and pastels have been done time and again, time to change-up the game!

Ultra-Rich Lip Colour $52
Ultra-Rich Lip Colour $52

This is the full coverage option. The pigment is so saturating, so prepare for a bold statement lip. This is a moisturizing formula as well, but wears on the lips longer than the Moisturecore.

Sheer Cheek Duo-Bicoastal $78
Sheer Cheek Duo-Bicoastal $78

This is a universally flattering and bold rose shade, with a light pink highlighter. The coverage is buildable, which makes it great for all skin tones.

Radiant Moisture Souffle $98
Radiant Moisture Souffle $98

This gold pearl infused, whipped meringue of a cream, does for your face what Touche Éclat does for your eyes. It reawakens, re-energizes, and gives a look of vitality. Lightweight and perfect for warmer temps, this soufflé moisturizes and protects while giving you that sexy Summer glow.

CReam and Powder Eye Colour $60
Cream and Powder Eye Colour $60

These pots are filled with a luminous cream shadow on the bottom, and a coordinating shimmery powder shadow on the top. Both options are long wearing and can be worn alone, layered or blended for multiple eye looks.

Skin Illuminator-Fire Lust $72
Skin Illuminator-Fire Lust $72

This peachy-pink, lightweight lotion gives skin a natural sunny kiss. It will work for just about every skin tone and can be used under or over makeup. It is not a primer specifically, but I think it would work well as one if you are wearing a lightweight foundation over it.

Large Bronzing Powder $98
Large Bronzing Powder $98

These bronzing powders are gorgeous! They are so versatile and can be used as a contour product as well. It comes in 3 different shades so there will be one that will compliment your skin tone. It gives a subtle shimmer, and the formula is very long-lasting.

Cream Cheek Colour $68
Cream Cheek Colour $68

This creamy cheek colour comes in two universal sun-kissed shades, a bronzy peach and a gold toned pink. I was surprised at how blendable these are. I usually run into a blending problem with cream cheek colours.

Skin Contouring Compact-The Afternooner $108
Skin Contouring Compact-The Afternooner $108

In my opinion this will be the only all in one compact you will ever need. You get your contour, blush, and highlighter in one. The contour and the blush are a nice stay true formula, but depending on how dark you want or need it to be, you can build the colour. The highlighter is not too shimmery, just right, and can be used for a multitude purposes. These shades are ideal year round, which I love.

Bronzing Primer-Resort to Pleasure $74
Bronzing Primer-Resort to Pleasure $74

While this product is specifically a primer, I feel like if you can use it in place of a foundation. It is silky and just gives a nice even toned glow to the skin. It is not too dark and would work for all skin tones.

Soleil Blanc Eau de Parfum $220-$550
Soleil Blanc Eau de Parfum $220-$550

This fragrance sums up what the entire collection is meant to exude. It smells of sensuality and refined luxury. This is not your typical Summer, beachy fragrance. No nuances of suntan lotion to be found, and thank goodness for that because there are one too many. It is warm, slightly sweet, and exotic. Think of a warm, sweet breeze blowing in from the Mediterranean, that is how I can best describe it. Most Tom Ford fragrances tend to be unisex, but I think Soleil Blanc is decidedly feminine. For such a warm and lush fragrance you would think it would be heavy or too cloying for the Summer, but it isn’t at all. Aside from my Black Orchid, Soleil Blanc is my other Favourite Tom Ford fragrance!

Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil $98
Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil $98

If you want the best of multiple worlds than this body oil is for you! The problem is that it doesn’t come in a big enough bottle. This silky oil moisturizes, delicately fragrances, and gives your skin a sensual glow. An added bonus is that if you use this under the Soleil Blanc EDP, your fragrance will last much longer.

This Soleil collection is by far my absolute favourite for Summer!

THE VELVET GOLDMINE

I cannot think of a more sumptuous cold weather fabric than velvet. It can however, be somewhat of a challenge to wear. Velvet clothing certainly has a tendency to exude a dated look, but this year designers are doing it well and proper with  jackets, tailored dresses and pants, and elegant accessories. This season, velvet has never been so chic!

Rachel Pally Velvet Nori Skirt and Laila Top $81.60-$120.60
Rachel Pally Velvet Nori Skirt and Laila Top $81.60-$120.60

We might as well start out with this gorgeous plum top and skirt from Rachel Pally. I love that most velvet pieces I am seeing are jewel tones and rich colours.

GIgi Burris Hyacinth Velvet Headband $385
GIgi Burris Hyacinth Velvet Headband $385

Headbands are starting to become popular again. I am not sure what you would wear this with, but it is certainly unique.

Badgley Mischka Velvet Ruched Gown $556
Badgley Mischka Velvet Ruched Gown $556

Imagine wearing this to a formal Christmas party. This is one of the most gorgeous dresses I have ever seen. I love understated elegance!

Gianvito Rossi Velvet High-Heel Pump $950
Gianvito Rossi Velvet High-Heel Pump $950

Black velvet shoes are usually the standard, but this year there are so many different shades from neutrals to jewel tones, to metallic shades.

Nanette Lepore Long Sleeve Velvet Paisley Dress $358.40
Nanette Lepore Long Sleeve Velvet Paisley Dress $358.40

This is such a gorgeous myriad of colours!

Tory Burch Hallandale Flat $295

Classic black velvet flats.

Altuzarra Paneled Velvet Devore Peplum Dress $2,306
Altuzarra
Paneled Velvet Devore Peplum Dress $2,306

I actually thought this was two separate pieces at first, but it is a lovely tailored dress. Just enough ruffle detail.

Eileen Fisher Washable Velvet Wrap Scarf $198
Eileen Fisher Washable Velvet Wrap Scarf $198

Very good quality velvet most of the time requires dry cleaning, but Eileen Fisher has come up with this washable velvet fabrics; which makes it so much easier to wear the pieces throughout the season.

Eileen Fisher Stretch Velvet Ankle Leggings $138
Eileen Fisher Stretch Velvet Ankle Leggings $138

Velvet leggings are everywhere! I am loving these by Eileen Fisher the most, however. Her pieces last forever.

TOM FORD TF Velvet Ankle Bootie $819
Tom Ford TF Velvet Ankle Bootie $819

Always add Tom Ford into the mix! These booties are gorgeous and simple.

Burberry London Peak Lapel Velvet Evening Jacket $1,595
Burberry London Peak Lapel Velvet Evening Jacket $1,595

It takes a certain type of man to pull off a velvet jacket. I say Tom Ford and Sherlock Holmes are some of the very few men who can, but why not be bold?

Free People Dreams Lace Trim Tunic Dress $168

This is so feminine, simple, and elegant!

For Love & Lemons Heather Minidress $216

This sheer piece can easily be worn during all seasons in my opinion, it is just too beautiful to only wear during Winter.

Free People Slouchy Velvet Blazer $168
Free People Slouchy Velvet Blazer $168

Keeping up with the slouchy jackets of this past season, this velvet jacket is a versatile piece.

Marc By Marc Jacobs Semona Velvet Biker Bomber Jacket $263

If you are a bomber jacket kind of gal, this is one of the better tailored ones I have seen.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Domo Biker Velvet Backpack $498
Marc by Marc Jacobs

Three of this years trends come together, zippered detailing, velvet, backpack!

Charlotte Olympia Velvet Bouquet Clutch Bag $580

This would be an evening bag that you could use year round. I love Charlotte Olympia!

Jonquil Moonlight Velvet Long Wrap Robe $140
Jonquil Moonlight Velvet Long Wrap Robe $140

I love cozy robes! This is going on my Christmas list! So sumptuous.

Kate Spade Scarlett Slippers $78

If you are going to get a velvet robe, you might as well get slippers too!

Manolo Blahnik Gorina Velvet Polka-Dot Pump $825
Manolo Blahnik Gorina Velvet Polka-Dot Pump $825

These pumps would look lovely with any of this seasons black velvet dresses. Carrie Bradshaw approved!

If reading all of this has not convinces you to love velvet, I do not know what will! Have you picked up any velvet additions to your wardrobe?

IT BAG ALERT, THE SADDLE BAG

The saddle bags of the past were originally designed for military dispatch riders. They have that unmistakable crescent shape, which is actually quite feminine in my opinion. Along with today’s messenger bags, the newest saddle bags are a perfect example of a designer mixing form, function, tradition, and ingenuity

The cross-body bag has reigned supreme for the past few years, but they might need to move over a spot or two to make room for their lovely sisters!

Chloe Drew Small Shoulder Bag $1,950
Chloe Drew Small Shoulder Bag $1,950

The Chloe Drew bag has surpassed all other saddle bag designs in my mind. There are two different sizes, and neither are too small. This small version is quite literally the perfect size for a small bag. There are so many different variations and colours. Chloe nailed it!

Multi coloured python print is right on league with the past seasons lingering boho prints.

Chloe Marcie Mini Saddle Bag $750

A little more minimalist than the Drew, this grey Marcie is a great everyday neutral.

Rebecca Minkoff Astor Laser Cut Leather Saddle Bag $295

I have been seeing a ton of laser cuts in bags lately. Tory Burch did some lovely ones this past Spring and Summer. The laser cutting does tend to have a warmer weather vibe to it, but this bag proves the trend can go either way.

Tom Ford, need more words be spoken?

Screenshot_2015-11-06-15-37-20-1[1]
Tory Burch Embroidered Medium Saddle Bag $795

There is certainly still a western vibe to some of the latest Fall and Winter collections. Tons of suede, fringe, and crops of riding boots. This Tory bag would go nicely with suede.

Screenshot_2015-11-06-11-53-33-1-1[1]
Tory Burch Frances Leather Saddle Bag $450

This is a slightly pebbled leather, and I love Tory’s pebbled leathers. They are soft and well made. The tassel gives this one just enough flair!

Have you jumped in the saddle bag yet?

DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT: GUCCI PRE-FALL COLLECTION

And so it goes with the commencement of Summer, fashion designers start to reveal their Fall collections. I get particularly excited about it because the Fall season is the most fashionable to me. Here is a quick peek at what Gucci has in store for the upcoming Fall season.

Wool Double-Breasted Trenchcoat, Merino Ribbed Turtleneck Top & Wool Skinny Flare Pant
Wool Double-Breasted Trenchcoat, Merino Ribbed Turtleneck Top & Wool Skinny Flare Pant

Peacock blue! Jewel tones are still in, and I am so in love with them. I finally found the perfect magenta wool coat, and I was looking for one in turquoise. I knew it was a long shot, and I didn’t find one. The preview of this collection gives me a glimmer of hope however. There is a particular cream sweater dress I have that is in desperate need of a turquoise layer.

Triangle Print Silk Dress
Triangle Print Silk Dress

I only have one silk dress, which is regrettable since silk makes for some of the most beautiful clothes.

Viscose Jersey Belted Dress
Viscose Jersey Belted Dress

Classic red dress! I found out long ago that there is so much you can do with a red dress. So many options to color-block with accessories and outerwear.

Leaves Jacquard Wool Coat, Satin Georgette Shirt & Felted Herringbone Ankle Pant
Leaves Jacquard Wool Coat, Satin Georgette Shirt & Felted Herringbone Ankle Pant

Cropped pants! The embroidered coat has me piqued my interest. When I think of blatant floral embroidery, I think of quilts, hideous PVC sofas, and the dresses my mom used to make me wear. This is something altogether different. I am loving this with the red details.

Leaves Print Silk Cape Shirt & Black Stretch Cotton Skinny Pant
Leaves Print Silk Cape Shirt & Black Stretch Cotton Skinny Pant

A silk cape is just the most ingenious thing. I am not one for bulky sweater capes, not everything looks flattering on everyone unfortunately. A cape in a silk fabric would give you such a nice and fluid movement though. Love it, and the new “leaves” print.

Leaves Print Embroidered Silk Gown
Leaves Print Embroidered Silk Gown

Simply stated, If I was a celebrity going to an event; this is the dress I would pick.

Merino Ribbed Crewneck Top & Leather Panel Skirt
Merino Ribbed Crewneck Top & Leather Panel Skirt

The leather skirt. How elusive it is for me! I almost bought a black leather Bagatelle pencil skirt not too long ago, I ultimately decided against it as it still was not a very good fit. It is difficult to get a leather skirt tailored. I think a skirt with this silhouette would be easier to wear. I detect a bit of a Western/Bohemian vibe to this outfit.

Embroidered Leather Dress
Embroidered Leather Dress

This leather dress is embroidered with studs. Was there ever such a statement?

Double Wool Wrap Coat, Oversized Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater & Wool Flannel Skinny Flare Pant
Double Wool Wrap Coat, Oversized Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater & Wool Flannel Skinny Flare Pant

This would be too  much khaki except for the fact that the ensemble is paired with a dark contrasting shoe.

Bamboo Shopper Large Calf Hair Tote Bag, Chocolate
Bamboo Shopper Large Calf Hair Tote Bag, Chocolate

I was thinking there was going to be a Western feel to some of the pieces this year. You can’t get anymore Western themed than with this bag. I like the incorporation of the bamboo handles. Gucci also did the bamboo handles for the Spring collection bags.

Miss Bamboo Medium Python Bucket Bag, Multi
Miss Bamboo Medium Python Bucket Bag, Multi

The bucket bag+snake skin print= the it bag of the season. I am calling it, let’s see if I am right. This one goes beyond the basic with not only the bamboo handle as well, but with the addition of a removable chain strap.

Linea B Python Medium Shoulder Bag, Pink Multicolor
Linea B Python Medium Shoulder Bag, Pink Multicolor

It looks like the mini, chain strap cross-body bags are not going anywhere anytime soon. I still cannot bring myself to invest in too many, as I do not use them that often. I just carry too much stuff on a regular basis. Gucci does this snake skin print wonderfully. Personally I like snake skin print, but it is a tricky trend to do without looking tacky. This mini bag is subtle and just enough statement.

Leather And Knit Biker Jacket, Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater & Stone Washed Stretch Ripped Denim Pant
Leather And Knit Biker Jacket, Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater & Stone Washed Stretch Ripped Denim Pant

Edgy and chic, tailored leather jackets with distressed and ripped denim. This is a trend that I like with a feminine touch, such as a pair of stilettos. I am detecting there will be nuances of fringe from last Fall in other collections this year as well. Fringe details are a love em or leave em sort of thing, but I think they would compliment this particular look.

Felted Bonded Herringbone Peacoat, Wool-Mohair Embroidered Jacquard Sweater, Octagonal Jacquard Satin Embroidered Shirt, Stone Washed Stretch Ripped Denim Pant
Felted Bonded Herringbone Peacoat, Wool-Mohair Embroidered Jacquard Sweater, Octagonal Jacquard Satin Embroidered Shirt, Stone Washed Stretch Ripped Denim Pant

This look is made softer around the edges with a feminine bag and classic Jacquard sweater.

Octagonal Jacquard Wool Embroidered Coat, Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater & Wool Skinny Flare Pant
Octagonal Jacquard Wool Embroidered Coat, Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater & Wool Skinny Flare Pant

This is the perfect example of the sophisticated elegance I love about Fall fashion. The feminine cut of this one just lends even more to its classiness. I really am excited to see what is going on in footwear to compliment these pants other than the shoes shown.

Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater & Octagonal Jacquard 1960s Pant
Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater & Octagonal Jacquard 1960s Pant

I am bereft that Mad Men is officially over. One of the reasons why is because I will not get to see the fabulous costumes they get to wear. I am so in love with these pants. The entire outfit is just….everything.

Wool Octogonal Dress
Wool Octogonal Jacquard Dress

Betty Draper would wear this!

Compact Viscose Jersey Dress
Compact Viscose Jersey Dress

I am not sure that you can have too many black dresses. My husband would say that they all look too similar. This is a man’s perspective. They are all actually going to be different in some way. This one for example is a classy mock-neck that gives it just enough detail. I am not sure that you even need anything else with an outfit like this.

Viscose Stretch Knit Dress
Viscose Stretch Knit Dress

See completely different! I love the pleating!

Wool Coat, Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater & Wool Skinny Flare Pant
Wool Coat, Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater & Wool Skinny Flare Pant

Head to toe black with a contrasting cream coat just makes the most sense. I am not sure that I even have a black turtleneck sweater. This is going to be critical mass come Fall. It always happens to me that the one thing I am looking for specifically, I cannot seem to find.

What do you think of the Gucci pre-fall collection?

DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT: CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA

If ever whimsy was an art form, which it is, Charlotte Olympia would have it down to a “T”. Her shoes and accessories are just so delightfully fanciful. I have kept my eye on this London based designer since shortly after her brand launched in 2008. I always look forward to seeing what she comes up with next!

First let’s talk about her shoes. Imagine what the offspring of a Picasso painting and a pair of Jimmy Choo’s would look like. That is how I would describe most of her shoes designs. There are others with a more subtle makeup, but the vivid ones are what she is known for. Just enjoy the eye candy!

These are vixenous! Yes, I made up that word. I just love that little flash of red you get on the bottom of the sole.

Love Me Heart Applique Pump

Never has there ever been a shoe that was more meant to wear on Valentine’s day………until these. They are my favourite so far from her newest collection.

Arizona Suede Trim Mesh Platform Sandal

With a blue Turquoise statement necklace….that’s all I have to say.

Now for the bags! She does some amazing clutch designs. They are all pretty much of a solid construction, mostly acrylic.

Lime Shape Perspex Clutch

Kandinsky Printed Pandora Clutch

This is her popular Pandora style. It gets new prints so often. This design represents the epitome of colour blocking!

Pandora Clear PomPom Clutch

I would wear all black and just let that pompom on top be my “flash of bold colour”.

Kitty Square Acrylic Box Clutch

Who doesn’t want a clutch with a kitty cat face on it?

What do you think of the latest from Charlotte Olympia?
